Plasma TVs were at first a great solution for the professional use but now times are changing and plasma TV's become common in every respected living room. You shouldn't look for extras like tuners or speaker because this are optional and can be purchased separately. The main aspect you should look for when you are looking at a review of plasma TVs is the video quality.

Don't be shallow and don't let you're self fooled by the TV manufactures that are saying a lot of words about features like: pixel resolution, scanning converters, contrast ratio and so on. These are important too but focus on the main thing because these are things they can brag about to sell the product. So even if you are making a review or read one try to write/find information about the image quality: how is it, how sharp and what's the clarity of it.

Another important thing about the plasma TV is the quality of the input. It's a very important factor and will affect directly the image displayed. The image is clearer then on a conventional TV by far.

When you talk about power consumption this is the leader too. And you should find out this before you buy one. A large variety of inputs are available on most of the plasma TV's and this can give you lots of possibilities. Overall the plasma TVs are the present and the future and all the manufacturers are trying to implement new features to attract you: the customer.
